NOTE —

If your blog post's featured images are fairly low resolution, you may want to delete the top image canvas. Your blog will still look gorgeous, but the top banner section looks best when you upload an image that's 2500px on the long side. You can also use our fave TinyJpeg to make them small so your blog posts still load quickly!

Favorite Moments of the Year

January 8, 2015

More than a new year’s resolution this is a challenge I was denying to accept (writing a blog it’s not as easy as it seems), and it wasn’t until I organized my hard drives and computer that I realized we have so many GREAT moments to share with you. Those moments and love stories will be in our memories forever. Now it’s time to share some of those incredible, favorite moments that changed our lives in 2014…10511456_684562218296270_2640848044762360605_o

And this wedding… no matter how much you plan, there is always time for some improvisation if the weather doesn’t help

What about some shots through a taxi window in downtown? The nice thing was to catch Colleen & Steve kissing while I was crossing the street… and it’s not luck, it’s being patience :)

Laura & Tony’s engagement shoot was one of a kind… no only because they look amazing together and their smiles show their sweet personalties but because it was one of the first and coldest days of the fall.

The best way to describe this photo… Family, Love & Happiness!

Or this photo… We don’t need to describe how we feel every time we look at this photo. It’s priceless not only for us but for them.

It’s there something more beautiful than a bride on her wedding day?

Discovering new places at our own city it’s part of the deal… It was our first time shooting around Sheffield and Armitage and after their engagement it’s now our favorite area. Thanks Christen & Mark for a fun afternoon.

Postenero-4760

We didn’t know how EXCITED it’s to shoot a surprise proposal after we planned everything through Skype with Jeevan. We would definitely do it again!

I won’t never forget how fun this wedding was :)

Postenero-5365

This is one of those memories that will always be in our hearts!!! Angelica’s dad passed away a few weeks after her wedding… Moments like this one, is what it makes capturing love stories so worth it!

One of our first weddings of 2014 in Ixtapa, Mexico. Gaby & Marti are more than clients, friends. We call them now cousins for a reason… What happens in Mexico, stays in Mexico ;)

Postenero-5541  Postenero-9744

And we won’t never forget Dani & Rodri, not because we want too but because they don’t let us :) we realized after a few destinations weddings that your life will always be attached to those couples. It’s not only so fun to create traveling experiences together but it let you share invaluable memories with them.

Many thanks to our friends, family, vendors, teachers, and best clients in the world!!!

BEHIND THE LENS

MEET
Juancho + Johana

We’re Johana and Juancho — partners in life, creativity, and capturing love stories across the globe. Juancho’s journey began with bold determination: he moved from Colombia to the U.S. with nothing but vision, passion, and a deep love for people’s stories. He bought the best lens on the market before even owning a camera, and after his first engagement session with friends, he came home glowing. That spark turned into a decade-long career rooted in emotion, connection, and purpose. Juancho has a magnetic personality — the kind that makes fast friends with strangers on planes, in grocery aisles, and even with our UPS guy. Weddings, with all their energy, humanity, and beautiful chaos, are his favorite kind of playground.

I bring a different kind of energy to the team. With a background in modeling and a career as a radio and TV host, I’ve always lived in creative spaces — and now I channel that into editorial work and wedding storytelling. Juancho likes to call my eye “the girly point of view,” but really it’s about noticing what often goes unseen: the softness, the glances, the stillness in between the big moments. Maybe it’s the journalist in me, but I’m always drawn to the why behind the image. Together, we balance each other — and we love creating with people who value that harmony of heart and art.
