South America Summer Wedding

I’ve always wanted to create a record that allows me to keep a memory of this amazing journal of wedding photography that I started four years ago. Becoming a wedding photographer is one the most incredible gifts I could ever have. The photography business has taught me how to be a better person through art, feelings, happiness, self-improvement, curiosity, and most importantly… through the love I experience with every client’s wedding.

Every time I meet a couple I fall in love again with my wife, my dogs, my family, and my profession. Their love stories make me wonder how I can add more laughter, joy, and memories to their lives as a photographer. The real truth is, that by capturing their love story through authentic and moving pictures, not only are they made happy but I am as well.  It’s as though the lens of my camera magically transports me along with my clients. It’s amazing!

Groom’s first look

This past summer I had a destination wedding in South America with a couple from Atlanta. It was an outdoor wedding full of colors and details. At the ceremony I usually stand next to the groom ready to capture the bride as she is walking down the aisle, but this time was different.  I could feel something very special happening and I glanced at the groom and noticed that he was full of emotion and about to cry. Intuitively I knew had to capture this moment along with that of the bride.  As I quickly captured this incredible moment in their lives, I was wishing that my own wife were there to witness it as well.  Thankfully, the photo I took captured it all.
