Boston Four Seasons Hotel Wedding: Erica + Dan

April 10, 2015

When we meet Erica and Dan in our studio something that stood out was the way in which they got engaged. She is a recognized food blogger and Dan is a very creative fiancé who took to proposing to her during the filming of a segment for her blog. Dan put the ring inside an egg that she would be cracking in front of the cameras…How he got the ring inside, how he made the egg look normal and how his idea came about is something he can only explain and is now part of their incredible story that they have just began as Mrs. and Mr. O’Brien.

Their wedding took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, the city where they meet. To welcome all her guests Erica had special gifts ready for them.  (her specialty). Such thoughtfulness made us smile! The gift bag also had some very special M&Ms with their wedding date and picture…definitely a unique and personal touch that was only the beginning to a weekend full of emotions and surprises, made more special with so much attention to details.

The day before the wedding the Ketubah Signing was the perfect opportunity for a reunion between family and friends. This tradition was something new to us, so being able to capture it was very exciting. We were impressed with how beautiful and full of life the Ketubah is.

And finally the day of the wedding arrived with a special gift from Mother Nature…snow! It sure was a gift as you can only imagine how beautiful the panoramic view of the Boston Public Garden was, it made for some amazing pictures to the beginning of a spring wedding “Boston style”.

It definitely was a wedding full of elegance, beauty, incredible attention to details and a special touch that Erica was sure to give that nobody would forget. The food was exquisite and complemented perfectly this long dreamed day for the “foodie”, as she defines herself.

We hope you enjoyed your honeymoon as much as your wedding day. For now here is a glance on how magical it was.

BEHIND THE LENS

MEET
Juancho + Johana

We’re Johana and Juancho — partners in life, creativity, and capturing love stories across the globe. Juancho’s journey began with bold determination: he moved from Colombia to the U.S. with nothing but vision, passion, and a deep love for people’s stories. He bought the best lens on the market before even owning a camera, and after his first engagement session with friends, he came home glowing. That spark turned into a decade-long career rooted in emotion, connection, and purpose. Juancho has a magnetic personality — the kind that makes fast friends with strangers on planes, in grocery aisles, and even with our UPS guy. Weddings, with all their energy, humanity, and beautiful chaos, are his favorite kind of playground.

I bring a different kind of energy to the team. With a background in modeling and a career as a radio and TV host, I’ve always lived in creative spaces — and now I channel that into editorial work and wedding storytelling. Juancho likes to call my eye “the girly point of view,” but really it’s about noticing what often goes unseen: the softness, the glances, the stillness in between the big moments. Maybe it’s the journalist in me, but I’m always drawn to the why behind the image. Together, we balance each other — and we love creating with people who value that harmony of heart and art.
