If your blog post's featured images are fairly low resolution, you may want to delete the top image canvas. Your blog will still look gorgeous, but the top banner section looks best when you upload an image that's 2500px on the long side. Chicago Adler Planetarium Wedding: Gina + Josh

February 25, 2016

We had never had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the Planetarium and after doing so we now understand why it’s such a popular place in the city. The view of downtown at night is spectacular and turns any moment into something so special.

Gina and Josh arrived to our studio a few months before their wedding, which was this past February 13th. A couple that within the first 10 minutes of talking showed us how sincere and special they are, which was only confirmed during the speeches at their wedding.

Aside from their wonderful personalities, we discovered that they are also very talented dancers…you’re about to see what we are talking about!!

Gina and Josh, we wish you many days surrounded by love, your two lovely dogs, that genuine talent of dancing and the sincere smiles that characterize you both.

Thank you for letting us live up close your beautiful story and celebration!

BEHIND THE LENS

MEET
Juancho + Johana

We’re Johana and Juancho — partners in life, creativity, and capturing love stories across the globe. Juancho’s journey began with bold determination: he moved from Colombia to the U.S. with nothing but vision, passion, and a deep love for people’s stories. He bought the best lens on the market before even owning a camera, and after his first engagement session with friends, he came home glowing. That spark turned into a decade-long career rooted in emotion, connection, and purpose. Juancho has a magnetic personality — the kind that makes fast friends with strangers on planes, in grocery aisles, and even with our UPS guy. Weddings, with all their energy, humanity, and beautiful chaos, are his favorite kind of playground.

I bring a different kind of energy to the team. With a background in modeling and a career as a radio and TV host, I’ve always lived in creative spaces — and now I channel that into editorial work and wedding storytelling. Juancho likes to call my eye “the girly point of view,” but really it’s about noticing what often goes unseen: the softness, the glances, the stillness in between the big moments. Maybe it’s the journalist in me, but I’m always drawn to the why behind the image. Together, we balance each other — and we love creating with people who value that harmony of heart and art.
